Once described as a cross between Hunter S. Thompson and Tim Burton, I've spent a majority of my life indulged in rock's cataclysmic tales, strolling through dingy dive bars, midnight jam sessions, and rock music festivals that howl at the moon. By day, I wield my pen as a weapon against the mundanity of the modern world; I'm a rock journalist. By night, I'm your anarcho-romantic looking for love beneath the strobe lights.
As you probably guessed, music, the macabre and magic are what make my heart race. Give me black velvet, doc martens and music that bleeds into the early hours. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me head-banging at local gigs, scouting new talent or with my head buried in an old Stephen King novel.
It isn’t all shadowy corners and pulsing rhythms, though. I have a fondness for vintage film noir, morbid antiques, haunting art installations, existential debates, late-night graveyard visits, and candlelit vegan dinners. Often introspective and perceptive, I have an unhealthy obsession with Bowie, Lovecraft and Edgar Allan Poe.
What am I searching for in this vast, rhythmic abyss? Someone with the tenacity to scream at a sky of critics and dance barefoot to their own syncopated rhythm. An enchantress who enchants the rebels, an irresistible, eccentric creature of the night who walks uncharted paths. A charming combination of Siouxsie Sioux, Lydia Deetz, and Nancy Downs. In other words, a fellow moon-kissed dreamer.
