I suppose I should put a label to the voice I am projecting inside your cranium. My name is flaire... flaire.... yes flaire.... yes really. After I introduce myself, more often than not I receive "That's not your real name." LET ME JUST STOP YOU THERE Madam, Mister and allow me to recite a few lines I have memorised for just such a occasion.
What is real? How do you define 'real'? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain.
If that amused you, then you can understand the amusement I get when I respond with this line to someone that has just proposed my name is not 'real'.
