I am not the most 'alternative' person on this site... looks wise I'm rather plain I don't have any piercings or tattoos.. I'd change my mind far to much to have anything permanent. I do not consider my self 'mainstream'.

I have a lot of interests in many subjects, far too many to list. However my main interests are:

Animation
Computing
Retro-technology
History
Science
Nature

I do voluntary at work at the weekends for a charity shop and an historic excavation.

I like a lot of genres of films but animated would have to be my favorite. It doesn't matter if its from Japan, USA or Europe. I even like silent animation of the 1910/20s.

I like a lot of music (like most people, so nothing new there...) but I would say I prefer the rocky side of the music-spectrum. I love the site Jamendo, has loads of genres of music all for free and non-mainstream.

Gaming wise I enjoy most games.. but I've never really enjoyed turn-based RPGs. I also currently make "let's play" videos on youtube of old video games from the 1970s-1980s.

I'm slowly trying to learn BSL (British Sign Language) because I think it would be a very useful and interesting thing to learn.

I'm not really a fan of clubs/pubs. I'd much rather be doing something else. Like playing games, exploring, visiting interesting places, making things.

I'm also a non-smoker.

I have a very pythonesque/dry sense of humor. In fact I have the entire 'Monty Python's Flying Circus' on DVD.
