I may already be gone by the time you read this, but:
I'm driving cross-country (for work) at a pretty crazy pace.
I took this job because a few years ago I became untethered when I lost everything I had that was worth having, and as I recently discovered, apparently a person with my skillset who has no personal attachments or reason to live is a rare & valuable resource to remotely located corporate contractors that want to operate beyond their means.
Part of the plan, initially was to explore the country and maybe find a new place to start over; to keep moving until I find a reason to stop.
The problem has been the aforementioned pace. I often don't even know what city I've stopped in and on occasion I've genuinely caught myself not knowing what state I'm in; that kind of pace.
I'm currently in: GALVESTON, TX.
I've generally been partial to the alt/goth scene but I'm not confined to it. Chances are that I don't know the lay of the land so it helps to meet a local that can show me around.
I'm not looking to "hook up" or get laid. I'm just looking for social interaction with stylistically compatible or like minded human beings. That being said, if we hit it off I'm not opposed to taking a complete stranger on a cross-country road trip on mushrooms, and yes, if we have chemistry: crime spree, taking turns holding each other at gun-point while we f**k. (NO LIVE ROUNDS if we're shrooming.)
